Client comments:
“I used so much less pain medication in my labor than I anticipated because my midwife was with me the entire time, encouraging me and making suggestions to help me cope. What a difference that support made.”
“My child’s birth was more beautiful than I ever expected. The environment was quiet, warm and loving.”
“I’ve used The Midwife Group for my GYN care for the last 15 years. They provide a more emotionally supportive environment than I’ve experienced elsewhere.”
“I can't believe I have the good fortune to be living within a short drive of the state's only birth center. The birth of our first child was a profound and loving experience thanks to these wonderful women. And annual check ups aren't the dreaded event they used to be either.”
*Certified Nurse Midwives (CNM)

Completion of a nursing program and state licensure as a registered nurse (RN) are pre-requisites for entrance to a university level CNM education program. Experience as an RN in maternal-infant-health is also required. A CNM has received national certification by the American College of Nurse-Midwives.
